At The New Vernon Truck Wash & Chrome Shop, we stand behind what we sell. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to make it right—within the guidelines below.

1. Return Window

You have 180 days from the date of delivery or in-store purchase to request a return or exchange.

2. How to Start a Return

All returns must be approved in advance. Items sent without approval will not be accepted.

We respond to return requests within 48 hours.

3. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return or exchange, items must:

• Be new, unused, and uninstalled
• Be in original packaging
• Include all parts, hardware, and documentation
• Be in resalable condition

Items that have been opened may be eligible only if they have not been used or installed and are returned complete.

4. Installation & Electrical Items (Important)

• Items that have been installed, used, or altered are not eligible for return
• Electrical and lighting products are not eligible for return once installed or modified

5. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

Shipping charges are non-refundable

We will cover return shipping only if:

• We sent the wrong item
• The item is defective
• The item was damaged during delivery

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Inspect your order immediately.

You must contact us within 7 days of delivery if:

• Your item is damaged
• Your item is defective
• You received the wrong item

Please include photos so we can resolve the issue quickly.

8. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for eligible items.

In many cases, the fastest solution is:

• Submit a return
• Place a new order for the correct item

If an exchange is approved:

• Price differences will be applied accordingly
• We may offer store credit when appropriate

9. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Installed or used items
• Electrical items once installed
• Items missing packaging or components
• Custom or special-order items
• Clearance, closeout, or final sale items
• Items damaged by improper installation or misuse
• Gift cards

10. Inspection & Approval

All returns are inspected upon receipt.

We reserve the right to:

• Deny returns that do not meet policy requirements
• Adjust refund amounts if items are not in resalable condition

11. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

• You will be notified of approval
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method

We process returns within 72 hours of receiving the item, though your bank may take additional time.

If more than 15 business days have passed after approval, contact us.

12. In-Store Purchases

This policy applies to both:

• Online purchases
• In-store purchases

In-store returns may be completed at the counter or by mail (with approval).

13. Wash & Service Policy

Truck wash and other completed services are non-refundable once performed.

If there is an issue with a wash or service:

• Customers must notify staff before leaving the property
• We will inspect and make it right immediately when possible

14. Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before shipment or pickup.

Once shipped, orders fall under this return policy.

15. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time.
